HVAC Project Engineer - Jamestown NC
Data Center / Mission Critical Facilities experience a huge plus!
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop a Piping and Instrumentation Diagram from the Process Flow Diagram.
  • Identify the technical scope of effort, including major equipment, electrical, mechanical, and controls components
  • Coordinate with MEP Engineering teams
  • Select equipment  Custom AHU’s, Central Utility Plant Systems, Mechanical Systems, and HVAC systems
  • Ensure Designs are in line with customer requirements
  • Review and approve drawings
  • Develop sequence of operations, operations and maintenance procedures, installation procedures for project end-item
  • Provide updates to Project Management on engineering project status
 
Qualifications
  • 5-+ years experience in the Mechanical/HVAC industry
  • Experience working on Design Build projects
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Ability to create flow diagrams and P&ID diagrams,
  • Experience with Mechanical / HVAC Systems such as Chillers, Air Handler Units HVAC, CRAC, CRAH, Cooling Towers, Pumps, Boilers, Hot Aisle / Cold Aisle ; a MUST
  • Ability to successfully work independently; Self Starter, self motivated, and should prioritize well.
  • Customer Service Driven
  • Computer Savvy (Microsoft Suite, MS Project, etc)
  • Solid Communicator – (written and verbal)
